Do you have list of websites that you frequently visit? I do and it’s going to be too troublesome if I need to type the website address over and over again, especially if the website address is long and hard to pronounce. That’s why I make use of the bookmarking feature built-in to the iOS Safari browser.
Though it (bookmarking) seems basic, but I still see some people (some are my friends and even me during my first few times) are struggling to find a way to bookmark the websites they are visiting using iOS Safari browser – thanks to Apple make-it-simple philosophy, due to its simpleness sometimes people has to figure out a way to do it – so that’s why I wrote this article.
Adding Bookmark on Safari for iOS – iPhone and iPad
These steps are also known as adding website to favorites.
1. Open Safari.
2. Type in the website address you want to bookmark, let it load the website page.
3. Once loaded, on the Safari bottom bar, find and tap on the Arrow Up with Square icon.
4. Pop-up menu will appear, on the bottom row, find and tap on Add Bookmark.
5. Name the website as you want it or you can just leave it as default. Choose the location. Default is Favorites. Tap on Save once done.
Bookmark has been added. Repeat the steps as many as you need to bookmark all your frequently visit websites so that next time you don’t need to type so long just to open a website.
