Singapore: Updating New Passport Information to ICA & MOM | PR | EP | Pass Holder| LTVP

Recently renew your passport and get a new passport with a new passport number? Either you are Singapore Permanent Resident, Pass holders (EP, Work Pass, S-Pass), Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP) then you have to do this a.s.a.p.

The reason you may want to update your passport particular ASAP

In case you need to get out or get into Singapore, without valid Passport number (Eg: you haven’t updated your expired Passport number with a new one), not only you can’t use the auto-gate at Immigration checkpoints but also likely you’ll get caught – since your last registered passport was expired already.

Update your passport number to ICA or MOM now! Here are the links.

Depends on what’s your status here in Singapore, there are different links to update your passport number to the Singapore government database so that not only your personal particular is updated on the database, but also like I mentioned earlier – you can easily go in and out from Singapore using the auto-gate gantry at airports, Ferry terminals or Singapore-Malaysia checkpoints.

If you are a Singapore Citizen or Singaporean – Pink IC holder

Your new passport number is automatically registered and updated to Singapore database the moment you renew your passport and get the new passport. So you don’t need to do anything after getting a new passport with a new passport number.

If you are a Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) – Blue IC holder

Go to the following link to update your new passport number.

Follow the steps provided. You’ll need SingPass to login and change your passport number.

If you are Pass Holder (EP, Work Pass, S-Pass) – Green IC holder

Go to the following link to update your new passport number.

https://www.mom.gov.sg/eservices/services/ep-online

Follow the steps provided. You’ll need SingPass to login and change your passport number.

If you are Long Term Visit Pass (LVTP) – Visit Pass holder

Go to the following link to update your new passport number.

https://www.ica.gov.sg/pass/LTVP/pass_LTVP_changeaddress

Follow the steps provided to send email to ICA and attaching your new passport details.
