Mario Bros shows up on iOS (and Android later)

Did you follow Apple keynotes last week, when they were announcing iPhone 7?
Just in case you didn’t follow or watch it, on the keynote, Tim Cook invited Shigeru Miyamoto – father of Mario Bros – to be on stage with him. Turned out Miyamoto-san was announcing the first ever official Mario Bros game on the mobile platform (iOS). Yay!

Get Notified for Mario Bros Game

As of today 12th September 2016, the Mario Bros game: Super Mario Run is not yet available for download, but the excitement is there already.

If you are one of the Mario Bros’ fans and on iOS platform, you can get notified when the actual game is being released. Head to your App Store and find Mario Bros or simply click link below, then tap on ‘Notify’ button to get notified.

If you are on Android, unfortunately, you need to wait – most likely it will be out first for iOS and only then Android.

Super Mario Run

According to Miyamoto-san, the game is in fact a running game, from left to right – just like endless run type of game – and can be played with only one hand but for Mario case, it has level/stages and each stages is ended by capturing the flag – just like its iconic 1980’s game.
Miyamoto-san also explained the game unfortunately won’t be a FREE game, but he and Nintendo will try to make it as cheaper as possible. Well that’s a turned down for many people – including me who like FREE great games.
Anyway, let’s see this coming December, hopefully the game pays the fans’ expectation of the game. Any thoughts?
