Singapore Residents now can enjoy many courses available on LinkedIn Learning as replacement of Udemy Business!
After a devastating year-end of 2023 for many library users in Singapore where NLB (National Library Board of Singapore) announced back then the end of access to Udemy Business, now NLB came back with a very good and exciting news for all library users in Singapore. Starting 1 March 2024, all Singapore library patrons who has MyLibrary ID, now can enjoy a complimentary access to LinkedIn Learning for free – yes true for FREE! Who can access LinkedIn Learning for FREE?
Everyone who has Singapore NLB Library ID can get access to LinkedIn Learning for free.
In case you don’t have NLB MyLibrary ID yet, do check out here to register one: https://account.nlb.gov.sg/.
Here’s how to access LinkedIn Learning for FREE
Follow these steps on your computer / smartphone to get access into LinkedIn Learning for FREE.
1) Open LinkedIn Learning
Depends on which devices you are using to access LinkedIn Learning, but here’s the link.

2) Sign in to LinkedIn Learning
Click “Sign In” then find and click on “Sign in with your library card”.
3) Key in the login details
Provide the following information when requested.
a) When prompted for “Enter your Library ID”, key in “nlb”.
b) When prompted for “Library card number”, key in your NLB MyLibrary ID username.
c) When prompted for “PIN”, key in your birth year.
4) Click “Continue”
The site will verify your details. However, in case you get kicked out/unauthorized, do retry a few times as for my case, I need to key-in the same details for a few times only then LinkedIn Learning let me login using my NLB MyLibrary ID.
That’s it. Enjoy accessing LinkedIn Learning for FREE!
