Set alarm for everything

Either you have been recently moved from Android to iOS or you are a new iPhone user and you are looking for a way to set alarm with specific date and time, this guide will show you how you can do that.

While on Android (if you are coming from Android to iOS), you can make use of the Clock app to set alarm on specific date and time, unfortunately iOS won’t allow you to do the same. But don’t get frustrated, the lacking of feature inside iOS Clock app is easily replaceable with the iOS Calendar app.

Here’s how to use Calendar app to set alarm on specific date and time on your iPhone

All the steps written here are tested on:

Latest iOS – at the time this article is written is iOS 15.5 Public Beta and using the iPhone that I currently have – iPhone XR. In case you are not on iOS 15 or iPadOS 15 yet, check the link here to get iOS 15 & iPadOS 15: Here’s how to update iPhone to iOS 15 today (iPad and iPod Touch included!) at JILAXZONE.

Should you are using different version of iOS or iPadOS, the steps may be slightly different but should not deviate too much. Anyway, in case you have questions / issues, feel free to put them down on the comment section down below, I’ll be more than happy to help you.

Follow these simple steps to set your Alarm on specific date and time as you like.

To set your Calendar to Chinese Calendar (shown in the pic) or some other alternatives, check out here: how to display alternate calendars on iPhone Calendar app at JILAXZONE.

1) Open Calendar app, you should be seeing the calendar in Month view where you can see the whole days within the current month.

2) Locate the date you want to set the alarm and tap on the date.

3) Tap on “+” button. The event window will pop-up.

Calendar event details.

4) Inside event window

ItemDescription
TitleAlarm for <put as you like here>
StartsSet the starting date and time
EndSet the ending date and time. Do note, both start and end here is not the alarm starting date or end date, but rather the event start and end date.
AlertThis is where you can set the alarm / notification.

To make it simple for you, if you need an alarm to ring off at 7 July at 11am, then set the Start date as 7 July then set the Start time as 11am. Then set the Alert as “At time of event”.

Bring it all together

You have just learned the basic on how to set alarm on specific date and time on your iPhone. Of course, you can further customize the setup in case you need more than just the basic alarm, such as reoccurring alarms.

In case you have encounter any difficulties and/or have any queries, drop your thoughts below on the comment section, I’ll be happy to assist.
